It's 2/10/20 and nothing from TSC...surprise, actually it's no surprise. So just wanted to share that there's nothing to share.

If I had a finger emoji I'd post it but I don't so...all for now. I'll keep holding my breath.

10/31/19Update, hey TSC called me and made everything right by refunding me the full purchase price and apologizing for my inconvenience. Just kidding, I'm still F'd and no one's contacted me for being out $800.00 because of the crap product they sold me. TSC still sucks.

Adding that it's a "Countyline" not Countryline log splitter 25 ton. I misspelled it.

Got a Countyline log splitter 10/14/18 at store # 349. Worked well a few times that fall.

Haven't used it since until last weekend and it worked fine. Went to use it this weekend, wouldn't start. Followed all directions, even replaced the gas (the gas in it was fine-just a precaution). Couldn't get it to start.

The pull cord broke too. Called customer service on the receipt. Told me to call warranty line. They told me to call Kohler if it's an engine problem.

Kohler said I have to deal with a Kohler Dealer. I live in the U.P. of MI, nearest dealer is over two hours away. Called him, brilliant guy diagnosed me right over the phone as non-warrantied items and that I'd either have to bring it to him and most likely pay as whatever is wrong won't be covered, or he'd come and get it and I'd pay him whatever millions and however many months that'll take (insert eye roll here).

So, even though they proudly display and "sell" that they are all backed by 5 year warranty and 2 year engine warranty..it's all *** TSC, Kohler, no one wants to stand by their product.

Just buy and keep paying if it goes south. Thanks TSC.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $807.

Preferred solution: Replacement of model with working model, not a POS that will fail within a year. .

Tractor Supply Pros: Usually they have what i want along with good product lines.

Tractor Supply Cons: Dont seem to care about you or their product after the sale.

Hello, if you have a copy of your receipt and deal with the people who manufacture your log splitter directly, it should still be covered under warranty if you registered for the warranty. Products break, it doesn't matter where you buy them from, it's a part of life and often it has nothing to do with the store.

No it won't be covered...because it's a "gas" issue and not considered a warranty item. I have my receipt, the warranty and all the paperwork it came with.

But warranties by these companies don't mean anything, they just sound good. Thanks anyway.

If the manufacturer does not cover a broken part caused by a gas issue, the service plan would cover that. If I buy a log splitter from Tractor Supply Company, I would inquire about purchasing the Power Plus service plan, four-cycle oil for the engine, fuel stabilizer to run in addition to non-ethanol unleaded gasoline, and hydraulic oil.

Guy. Youโ€™re not helping.

Trust me Iโ€™ve tried.

They leave u out in the cold. ITS NOT COVERED NO MATTER WHAT I DO.

Did you purchase the Power Plus service plan with the log splitter? If yes, the log splitter would be covered for service. If no, the log splitter is not covered for service and you may have to spend $800 for another log splitter.

No, it wasn't something that was offered to me at the time of sale. So yes, I know I'm F*'d and have to buy a new one. Something other than Countyline from TSC.

If a Team Member mentioned the Power Plus service plan at the point of sale, that would have been an opportunity to know what the service plan would cover and an opportunity to have my equipment covered if it failed.
