Terrible service

I was in the store last week and had the most ignorant employee named Brianna. She was being disrespectful to her coworker & very rude to me. She should never be allowed to be in customer service. I will never go back if she is working there. It was my first shopping experience at your store

Your stores are so understaffed that it’s ridiculous. Can never ask a question old people can’t get help loading and on and on. Manager said it comes from corporate how many people the store can work.

Your stores are so understaffed that it’s ridiculous! You sell a lot of products that are very heavy. Old people who garden and farmers have no help loading. Your cashier line today was 10 customers long and you only had 2 people working in the store. Remember it’s spring people are planting gardens and flowers. You are higher in price than most companies like yours . You care only about profit and not customers. Your customer count has to be down because people know you do not provide service. You can get help loading if you have 20 to 30 minutes to wait and this is after standing in line for 10 to 15 min to pay. This is the reason Amazon is so big. Your pushing people to order online and have it delivered to your front door So Sad

Most of the "chain" stores like Meijer, Walmart, Menard's, and TSC have reduced the number of employees working at any one time in order to cut labor costs. Most, if not all states and some localities have minimum wage requirements which costs the stores money to pay people for basically unskilled jobs and since labor costs are among the highest expenses in a business the tendency is to have fewer employees working in an attempt to cut costs.

The result is long lines at the checkout and fewer employees throughout the store to help customers.

The best thing to do is try to shop at stores that have more employees working and this usually means smaller stores like local hardware stores, grocery stores and the like. No reason to spend your money at a store that treats the customer like dirt.

Cashier was no help at all

I had checked out the sale ad that had the Cannon Gun safes. We had decided to go ahead and purchase one but I wanted to see them first. I asked for help none to be found. So I went to the cashier whose name I did not catch but I entered the store on Colony street in Bakersfield Ca 93307 shortly after opening on 4/24/2019. I asked her for more information about the safes and if they were still on sale she stated that sale was over on 4/22/2019 . I tried to ask more questions but was told by her if its not on the shelf order it on line. She made no offer to contact the other store in town to see if they even had one or not. The attitude that I received from her was like go away you bother me. So I left and took my Business to Liberty gun safe of Bakersfield. SHE CAUSED LOSS OF 900.00 TO 1500.00 SALE DUE TO HER ATTITUDE.

I am furious!

I ordered a time sensitive feed thru fly control for my horses. It said 3- 5 business days to be picked up in store. 2 weeks still not there. This means I am starting all over for fly control in my barn. I called today to S. Elm-Eugene store to go get my order, that was to be there yesterday. Still not there. This stuff is not cheap. I told them to give me a refund. No, we can't, you must call the hotline. The only line that is hot is this one dang it. I am finished with this company. I will pay 4.00 more and have in in 2 days or less from Amazon. The Burlington NC store is worse customer service and not clean and organized either. The best TSC is Oak Ridge NC, which is 30 miles from me. TSC is now classified with Walmart " I would rather run thru *** with a gas can" !!!! Lisa Pleasure NC

At your Laurel Ms store I requested assistance in loading some horse feed. The cashier asked one of your employees to assist me she turned away and left me standing. Since I am 82 years old I had to get a customer to assist me. This had been a well run store until recently the service has decreased and the store employees do not appear to care. I will not be buying from this store because of the bad service.

Bought a Bad Boy mower $2000. The gear box locked up after 10 minutes of mowing. Bad Boy Mfg in Alabama told me Tractor Supply was suppose to put oil in Gear Box. Wade the manager of Tractor Supply in Jacksonville Texas said that's not right. Please help me

I bought a tire for my pull behind trailer. It was deflated. The floor clerk rolled her eyes when I commented. The cashier (Dan) said “You can always bring it back.” They had no ability to inflate the tire. It would not hold air, so I had to make a return trip and I lost a day of yard work. I got a $1.50 discount.

Another good company gone bad

When Tractor Supply Co. built new stores in Southern Arizona, they were a good place to shop for farm and ranch supplies.

Now 3 years later, their prices are up and service stinks. I live in Rio Rico, AZ and needed some treated wood fence posts, but the Nogales Store (10 miles away) doesn't carry them anymore, neither does the Green Valley Store (30 miles away), so I had to drive 50 miles to the Tucson Store to get fence posts that I bought last year in the Nogales Store for about 25% less. Not only that, but the Tucson Store was poorly staffed with young women who didn't have a clue about fence supplies...posts, wire, etc.

I was told in the Green Valley Store that "Corporate" now does the ordering, and they can't get the posts I needed, even though last year they sold lots of these posts out of this store, but now with the new ordering system they often can't get what they need. Tractor Supply has become just another department store staffed by know nothing people, and run by know nothing people who could care less about service to the farm and ranch community that they profess to serve.

Went to go get grain as well as other customers. We all left because there were NO carriages to put the grain in. Why? because all carriages we're in the aisles with store products not put away and employees were topping and yapping instead if working. I asked For a carriage cause there was none. Employee said oh well and walked away. This was the store in castleston -schodak. Ny

Your Edna Texas store is greatly lacking in employees who care about the well - being of the baby chicks they have in stock -- they crowd the little birds -- do not make sure they have water or feed

Poor communication.

I called and talked w/someone in the Credit Department and she just kept talking and talking letting me know what was needed (which was ok, except she was talking so fast, I literally gave up.) All I wanted to know is what was missing on the Credit Application. She said it was "dead" because of date issues. I would have to fill out another one, which was okay with me too. But am I going to miss something again. The owner had signed. We have been in business for 42 years and haven't ran into a problem like this one.
